ESET and Gryphon bring enterprise network protection to homes and small businesses

26 Mar 2018 Gryphon Online Safety, a San Diego network protection platform startup, and ESET, an antivirus pioneer and the creator of award-winning threat detection software, announce today a partnership to incorporate ESET’s threat detection technology as part of Gryphon’s smart Wi-Fi system for homes and small businesses.
Gryphon is the world’s first AI-powered wireless mesh Wi-Fi platform that protects all the devices on the network. In addition to 3Gbps of overall throughput and wall to wall coverage with latest wireless mesh technology, Gryphon supports easy to use parental controls that go beyond just pausing the Internet. View browsing history, filter inappropriate content, manage individual users on the network, and approvals on the fly - all with a simple to use app.
Gryphon also protects all connected devices such as webcams and smart thermostats from being hacked using intelligent machine learning. Now with ESET’s threat database technology, Gryphon completes the network protection by detecting and blocking malware, ransomware, and phishing sites for every device at the network level.
